Ember was a small dragon with a big problem: every time she yawned, a puff of fire lit up her cave — and she could not fall asleep. First she tried counting fluffy sheep. But the sheep saw her sparks and ran away! Next she gulped cold water from the river. That only gave her the hiccups, and every hiccup shot out a tiny flame. Tired and grumpy, Ember flew to Owl, the wisest bird in the forest. 'Don't fight your fire,' said Owl gently. 'Use it.' So Ember breathed one long, warm flame onto the cold stone wall. The rock glowed a soft orange, just like a night-light. Her whole cave turned cozy and warm. Ember curled her tail around herself, closed her eyes, and — for the first time all week — the little dragon fell fast asleep. 😴
